Our federation of schools is committed to providing excellence in education. Our aim is for children to leave for the next stage of their education with the confidence and aptitude to make their own valuable contribution to the community, for staff to recognise their contribution to this development of children and parents to genuinely support their son or daughter's education.
Aylestone is a thriving, collaborative and caring school with high aspirations for all students. We pride ourselves on being able to offer something different in the city. We are a smaller school, but big enough to offer the breadth of choice and opportunities that other schools do. We know all our children and have a school ethos based on mutual respect. Put simply, we are a happy, caring school, small enough to know each student, but also big enough to offer extensive choice and opportunities.

Miss Fox is beyond proud of the children from Year 5&6 who attended Hay Festival today. They showed impeccable behaviour, lovely manners and had a brilliant time. Thank you to our wonderful mini bus driver Mrs Phillips too. A fantastic day! #BLANDSReading https://t.co/CMgSsu1DA5

How fantastic! Broadlands came in 2nd place in the Walk to School Challenge last week. Whilst we didn't make the distance from Australia to Birmingham, we did make it from Hereford to Canada, which was where the very first Commonwealth Games was held. #ProudBLANDS @stride_active https://t.co/y5q3Uxb2Vz

This morning Broadlands primary school welcomed two very important people into school. "The Queen" and the Mayor of Hereford! The children asked the Mayor all about his role and then they sang some jubilee songs to him. Which he loved! #BLANDSbritishvalues #PROUDBLANDS https://t.co/hlugwgaK4U
